Amar'e Stoudemire and Alexis Welch Engagement Photos

Here are some photos of NBA star Amar'e Stoudemire and fiancee Alexis Welch on their engagement.

The two got engaged at the Le Meurice Hotel Belle Etoile Royal Suite in Paris Saturday night, June 9, after Stoudemire got down on one knee and handed Welch with an 8.5-carat radiant-cut ring made up of 3.50 carats of diamonds set in 18-carat white gold worth more than $1 million.

"I have been planning my proposal for a while and overlooking the entire Paris skyline seemed like a perfect place. I am so happy she said 'yes,' and now we can continue to build our life together as husband and wife," Stoudemire said in a statement.
