Here is Pagasa's weather update for July 17, 2012. At 2:00 p.m. today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 1,190 km east of Central Luzon (17.5°N, 135.0°E).
Visayas and Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
